2.ExhaustEmissionControlSystemlive,Kawasakihasincorporatedcrankcaseemission(1)andexhaustemission(2)controlsystemsincompliancewithapplicableregulationsoftheUnitedStatesEnvironmentalProtectionAgencyandCaliforniaAirResourcesBoard.Additionally,Kawasakihasincorporatedanevaporativeemissioncontrolsystem(3)incompliancewithapplicableregu-lationsoftheUnitedStatesEnvironmentalProtectionAgencyandCaliforniaAirResourcesBoard.1.CrankcaseEmissionControlSystemToprotecttheenvironmentinwhichweallThissystemeliminatesthereleaseofcrankcasevaporsintotheatmosphere.Instead,thevaporsareroutedthroughanoilseparatortotheintakesideoftheengine.Whiletheengineisoperating,thevaporsaredrawnintothecombustionchamber,wheretheyareburnedalongwiththefuelandairsuppliedbythefuelinjectionsystem.Thissystemreducestheamountofpollutantsdischargedintotheatmospherebytheexhaustofthismotorcycle.Thefuel,ignitionandexhaustsystemsofthismotorcyclehavebeencarefullydesignedandconstructedtoensureanefficientenginewithlowexhaustpollutantlevels.Theexhaustsystemofthismodelmotor-cycleincludesacatalyticconvertersystem.EmissionControlInformation
