*Replacementoftheoriginalexhaustsystemormufflerwithacomponentnotin*Removalofthemuffler(s)oranyinternalportionofthemuffler(s).*Removaloftheairboxorairboxcover.*Modificationstothemuffler(s)orairintakesystembycutting,drilling,orotherFederallawprohibitsthefollowingactsorthecausingthereof:(1)theremovalorrenderinginoperativebyanypersonotherthanforpurposesofmaintenance,re-pair,orreplacement,ofanydeviceorelementofdesignincorporatedintoanynewvehicleforthepurposeofnoisecontrolpriortoitssaleordeliverytotheultimatepurchaserorwhileitisinuse,or(2)theuseofthevehicleaftersuchdeviceorelementofdesignhasbeenremovedorrenderedinoperativebyanyperson.Amongthoseactspresumedtoconstitutetamperingaretheactslistedbelow:compliancewithFederalregulations.meansifsuchmodificationsresultinincreasednoiselevels.TamperingWithNoiseControlSystemProhibited
