82GENERALINFORMATIONminordamageisitpossibleforEDRdatatobestoredforretrieval.○Dependingonthetypeofaccidentevent,itispossiblethattheEDRmaynotrecordsomeorallofthedata,oritmaynotrecordiftheEDRisdamaged.○Thisdevicedoesnotcollectorstorepersonaldataorinformation(e.g.name,gender,age).TheEDRinthisvehicleisdesignedtorecordonlydatathatisrelevanttothevehicle’srunningconditionatthetimeofanaccidentlike,butnotlimitedto,vehiclespeed,enginecrankshaftrota-tionalspeedandthrottleopening,etc.Thisdatacanhelpprovideabetterunderstandingforboththeriderandthemanufacturerofhowthevehiclewasperformingatthetimeofanaccidentornearaccident-likesituation.ToaccessinformationonanEDR,specialequipmentandaccesstotheEDRisrequired.KawasakiwillnotshareEDRinformationwithoutobtain-ingyourconsent,unlessrequiredbygovernmentauthorities,oractingpur-suanttolawfulauthority.
